Tiltwood is a West Auckland-based workshop crafting natural, design-led timber pieces — from rugged outdoor staples to refined indoor centrepieces. Every product we make reflects the same care, character, and honest materials.

How We Work

We build across three small-batch collections:

  • Workshop - Our in-house classics: planters, picnic tables, garden gates.

  • Signature - Limited-release furniture runs made around unique slabs, finishes, or forms.

  • Collective - A curated mix of home and garden goods from other New Zealand makers.

Our Story

Tiltwood began in a backyard shed, with one table, one toolbox, and too many cups of tea. Today, we’re still hands-on in West Auckland, building slow, thoughtful furniture for homes, gardens, and studios around Aotearoa.

We favour FSC-certified timber, natural finishes, and small production runs over mass manufacturing. This isn’t furniture designed to fill containers — it’s made for real people and real spaces.
